You have been very busy Ruiz family with a lot of goings on. It is fun to see all the pictures of you guys. I will include one here of the kids on the beach. Kees loved boogie boarding and the water is so warm you can swim in it. Kira, Kyler, and Kade all loved playing in the water and the sand. Love you all.

Take Your Child to Work Day

Well. I think that Anyssa has a bright future in Property Management. She helped me with SOOOOO much today (filing, accounting, billing, phone calls, etc). Then we ran some errands for wrok and ended up having lunch at Applebee's (yummy). That was fun. We has a very solid conversation about college and the importance of being a U of WA fan (in her opinion). She is quite the little debate queen...

After lunch it was back to the office to finish up our day and head home! But before we did that we just had to get an icecream since it was 72 degrees!!!!!

Thank you Anyssa for coming along and spending the day with me. I sure had a good time. I think that you can come anytime and do my job while I go and get a massage at the spa!

Alayna had an AWSOME day today. She won all her soccer games. She played 4 different teams for 15 minutes each. She did great!

Alayna also had a Gymnastic Competition today in Seattle. She scored:

Uneven Bars: 8.9 (last week 9.2)

Balance Beam: 9.8 (last week 9.4)

Floor: 9.6 (last week 9.4)

Volt: 9.8 (last week 9.6)

Her team won FIRST place! (last week third place)

Hi there Ruiz family! I thought I would drop by your blog to see what's happening! I was looking through my pictures today and thought this one is soo cute. Unle Mike was so excited that you all came and saw him on his train. I think it was his best work day ever!

Friday is uncle Mike's birthday. Shhh....if you know what I got him, remember not to tell him! On Friday I think that Uncle Mike and I are going to go see the Body's Exhibit in Seattle. I think that we will do a big family dinner when Pake is back from Japan.

Tomorrow Pake leaves for Japan, he will be gone for 13 days. He will be home for Easter.

Anyssa did very well on her solo. We were glad we could make it to her concert.

Amalia, thank you for shopping with me yesterday for that baby gift. Pake gave to Hilberto and he thought Pake was the nicest. (but we already knew that).
In 2 weeks Uncle Dave ,Aunt Jodi, Kees, Kyler, Kade and Kira might be here for Easter. That would be so much fun. We are sure going to miss them. But we will have go visit them soon. Maybe go to Disney World too.

Walk-A-Thon

Salem Woods Elementary is having a Walk-A-Thon on Thursday, March 29th.

Our Walk-A-Thon is a school wide, fun and fit activity for kindergartner though fifth-graders. Music, dancing, contests, and other fun activities will be part of this event to be held during the school day. Drinks will be provided and each student will receive a token of participation.

Our goal is to raise at least $6000.00 to fund our new technology lab, classroom grants, and other programs sponsored by our school's PTA. We hope that each family will participate in the Walk-A-Thon to the best of its ability. If each family raises $25.00 we will surpass our goal. We're hoping to make this Walk-A-Thon a big sucess, so the more contributions we raise, the more resources we will have to help enrich our children's experience at Salem Woods.

Pledges may be made by anyone. On-line donations can be made using a credit card at www.salemwoodspta.org/walkathon. If pledging on-line make sure your sponsor fills out the student name so that credit will be given to you. Pledge sheets and on-line pledge need to be turned in on or before Walk-A-Thon day, Thursday, March 29th.

I am Anyssa. I am 8 years old. It is St. Patrick's Day today :) I have one older sister Amalia, one younger sister Alayna, and one younger brother Anthony. Yesterday, I went to my Beppe's house and got to play with my cousins. I got to hold baby Kira. Kira is so cute. When she was laying on the ground, I kinda lifted her arms up and she would swim. Yesterday I had my friend from class Elena over after school. We played outside and rode bikes. We played in the woods. I'll write again tonight, and let you know how Kids Creat went.
